Projects, Missions, and Results

Oceana was looking to secure a foothold in Washington State and enact legislation to ensure coastal protection of habitat and wildlife. The only problem was that they had no in-state employees, no offices, or strategy to capture their market.

My team and I developed a data collection and analysis plan to gain insight into market values, and analyze the highest impact messaging. With our results in hand, we then built messaging, personas, timelines, and designed a Washington GTM strategy for the next 12 months.

Every year, an election is held to appoint the acting directors who will be in charge of developing, drafting, and enacting policy that promotes student interests, needs, and welfare for over 6,000 higher education students in Bothell.


In 2019, they couldn't find anyone crazy enough to lead the Marketing and Operations department -well, until I showed up.

An ingenious fantasy made reality-

What if you could take your family to a real-life sword-and-sorcery tavern? They could have dinner designed by a local chef, play free games from a library of over 200, join events, host parties, or participate in a tournament!

At first, it was just a run-down, historic house on Main Street, downtown. Not for long! Our daring adventures included robberies, a fire that burnt half the building, developing a supply chain from scratch, integrating social media into our CRM, designing a marketing strategy (of course), and joining PAX WEST as the largest retail booth. 

​

Since my departure, Zulu's has completed their third expansion, doubling its floor space again, and still utilizes the strategy and systems I put in place for their marketing.
